GREEK GARDEN
The site:
A private garden in the Cyclades with conditions typical to the region - dry summers, high winds and rocky soil. The existing main house provides protection from the strong winds common in summer months.
The brief:
Rearrange the existing pool terrace to create larger areas of shade and a cooking / dining space. Link the main house to the pool through a garden space. The children enjoyed exploring the garden prior to construction and the new garden should continue to provide space for play.
